The National Wellness Institute defines wellness as: “….a process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence.”
Wellness has to do with conscious living. You become aware that you don’t have to run your life on automatic pilot. We can turn off our TV, computers and phones. We can really notice how our food tastes, read food labels and notice how good it feels when our body moves in a healthy way and when we sleep more and better. We can connect with others, reduce our sense of isolation and enjoy the beauty of nature.
We learn how to work and play with passion and balance.
Sometimes though, health concerns of any and all kinds can enter into our lives.
Hypnosis is extremely helpful for pain management, including chronic pain (i.e., backaches, headaches,joint problems, etc.) and various health concerns, including IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), TMJ/Clenching/Grinding, and more.
In the hypnotic ‘trance’ state, you can bypass the conscious, everyday mind to access your subconscious, allowing you to change thoughts and therefore, feelings and behaviors.
