What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an increased focus of attention or absorption where your conscious, analytical, critical mind is quieted so that the subconscious (or unconscious) mind can accept positive suggestions, in order to change negative thought patterns, behaviors, fears and phobias more quickly and easily.
This relaxed, focused state offers you a peaceful awareness of your own sources of guidance and information.
It is a natural state occurring throughout the day, which you may notice when you’re absorbed in a TV program or a good book, where you are so absorbed that what is occurring around you becomes less important.
Your subconscious stores all your deeply held beliefs, behaviors and habits. The fact is that most of your behaviors and habits are determined by subconscious beliefs and desires, not your conscious mind. Through hypnosis, these beliefs and desires can be changed for the positive, so that your subconscious beliefs come to conscious awareness.
